Since the introduction in 2018 of the larger LiveTrak L-20, with 20 inputs, later followed by the rack-mountable version L-20R and the musician-oriented L‑12, Zoom has reenergized the digital mixer segment with a balanced combination of features at affordable prices.

Plugin Alliance announced availability of the Lindell 80 Series, a new plug-in from Swedish company Lindell Audio. This is an exact emulation of the original Neve 1073 and 1084 (mic preamp/EQ) and 2254 (mono limiter/compressor) channel modules, plus the 1272 (line amplifier) buss module, from the Neve 8028, one of the last 80 Series hand-wired mixing consoles created by Neve Electronics. The plug-in was created using Brainworx Audio’s proprietary TMT (Tolerance Modeling Technology) and THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) technology for added authenticity.
