Audinate announces Dante HC reference design
Audinate announced a new High Capacity (HC) reference design solution for OEMs, in line with previous platforms available for manufacturers wanting to implement Dante network audio. The difference is the support of up to 512 x 512 redundant bi-directional uncompressed audio channels on a single Xilinx FPGA.

Sennheiser promotes streaming solution for assistive listening in cinemas
Sennheiser is currently promoting a new live-streaming solution that provides users with audio description and hearing support on smartphones at cinemas and theaters. The new development, named CinemaConnect, is also easy to integrate into existing audio systems. The audio specialist recently founded the subsidiary Sennheiser Streaming Technologies GmbH (SST) to develop this and other streaming products.

Harman Professional new Technology and Signal Processing Business Unit Facility in Salt Lake City, will enhance operational efficiency and provide Harman Professional staff with world-class resources with a new 50,000-square-foot Technology Center.
