Audinate announces Dante HC reference design
Audinate announced a new High Capacity (HC) reference design solution for OEMs, in line with previous platforms available for manufacturers wanting to implement Dante network audio. The difference is the support of up to 512 x 512 redundant bi-directional uncompressed audio channels on a single Xilinx FPGA.
CanJam Europe 2014 returns in September

Sennheiser promotes streaming solution for assistive listening in cinemas
Sennheiser is currently promoting a new live-streaming solution that provides users with audio description and hearing support on smartphones at cinemas and theaters. The new development, named CinemaConnect, is also easy to integrate into existing audio systems. The audio specialist recently founded the subsidiary Sennheiser Streaming Technologies GmbH (SST) to develop this and other streaming products.
AFMG establishes North American Office
German company AFMG, known for its leading acoustic simulation and measurement programs EASE, EASERA, and SysTune, announces the formation of the company’s first official office in the United States. Headed by Bruce C. Olson, AFMG Services North America, LLC will be taking responsibility for all inquiries arising in the US and Canada.
Harman Professional opens new Technology Center in Salt Lake City, Utah
